Job Summary

As a Server, you will be an integral part of creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for delivering polished, attentive, and knowledgeable service, ensuring guests feel valued and welcomed from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Experience: Greet guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and provide personalized recommendations, showcasing a deep knowledge of our Mediterranean cuisine and beverage offerings.
  • Menu Knowledge: Be well-versed in all menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens, as well as wine pairings and specialty cocktails.
  • Order Management: Take accurate orders, ensuring any special requests or dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen team.
  • Service Excellence: Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining impeccable table service standards, including proper clearing and resetting of tables.
  • Upselling: Suggest additional items or pairings to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the kitchen, bar, and support staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Problem-Solving: Address any guest concerns with professionalism and poise, ensuring a positive resolution.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5 years of experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Mediterranean cuisine and wines is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attitude: Positive, professional, and team-oriented with a passion for hospitality.
  • Certifications: Smart Serve Certification (required).
