Job Summary

TIW WESTERN Inc. is an established Calgary based manufacturing company and recognized leading supplier of heat transfer and combustion equipment.

We are looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our Calgary shop.

Reporting to the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for accurate order picking, inventory control, and shipping/receiving of materials, including industrial parts, tools, and equipment. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment common in Calgary’s industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick and stage orders for oilfield supplies, parts, and industrial materials using pick slips or Work Orders
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and specifications to ensure accuracy
  • Package and prepare orders to meet shipping and handling standards
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing slips, and waybills
  • Coordinate shipments with carriers such as Purolator, FedEx and freight companies such as TST-CF, Grimshaw etc.
  • Load trucks and secure materials safely.
  • Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders and packing lists
  • Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues
  • Label, organize, and store goods in designated locations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or oil & gas supply environment preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Forklift certification considered a strong asset
  • Knowledge of industrial materials, parts, or oilfield supplies is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, tracking, basic formulas), Word, and Outlook
  • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail

Wages and Benefits

· TIW Western Inc. provides competitive rates and benefits package in a safe, progressive environment.

· This is a fulltime position on a 4 days per week x 10 hours per day schedule, from Monday to Thursday. Occasional overtime may be available.
