  • Schedule shipments with selected carriers and coordinate pickup dates, delivery requirements, and any special transportation arrangements.
  • Communicate shipment details and schedules to internal departments.
  • Ensure equipment is ready for loading when transportation providers arrive.

  • Prepare parts quotations and order acknowledgements as required.
  • Process customer parts orders accurately and enter them into the company's order-processing and inventory systems.
  • Provide information regarding order status, parts availability, and expected shipment timing.

3. Warehouse Support

  • Assist warehouse personnel with picking, packing, and shipping parts orders when time permits and primary shipping and order desk responsibilities are under control.
  • Ensure parts are picked accurately, packaged appropriately, and prepared for shipment.
  • Assist with shipping labels, packing lists, and other required documentation.

4. U.S. Trade Compliance & Backup Coverage

  • Learn DryAir's applicable U.S. import and export requirements, internal trade compliance procedures, and documentation practices.
  • Develop a working understanding of tariff classification, country-of-origin requirements, applicable trade agreements, customs documentation, and other requirements relevant to DryAir's shipments.
  • Learn the procedures used to verify and document compliance with applicable U.S. trade measures and tariff requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Trade Compliance Manager, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties to resolve routine documentation or shipment compliance questions.
