RoofIgnite is a fast-growing performance marketing agency helping roofing companies generate qualified appointments through high-converting Facebook ads and automated follow-up systems.
We're hiring a hands-on Creative Strategist to own our creative department: produce and QA ad creative, invent new creative formats, and manage the production team that pumps them out across our client book.
This is not a graphic design or brand role. We're looking for someone who's already fluent in direct response creative, paid social, and AI creative tools - and can hit the ground running. As we speak we are scaling from $300k/month USD to $1M/month USD, so you MUST be ready for an aggressive challenge. We are looking for experts and not generalists.
What You'll Be Doing
Creative Production & QA
- Produce ad creative yourself: static image ads, graphic text ads, AI-generated images, AI likeness video ads, and short video edits (Canva, CapCut, Higgsfield and similar AI tools).
- QA and grade every creative our production team makes (good / bad / needs adjustment) before it ships. Nothing goes live without your sign-off.
- Hold the quality bar: our ads should look like a happy homeowner posted them, not like polished stock.
Creative R&D & Strategy
- Research winning ads (Facebook Ad Library, competitor accounts, swipe tools) and test new formats, angles, and messaging.
- Build new creative formats and turn every winner into a documented SOP the team can repeat.
- Stay ahead of AI creative tooling and build production workflows around it.
Pipeline & Team Management
- Run the creative queue in ClickUp: intake work orders from account managers, prioritize, assign, and set deadlines.
- Keep production booked days ahead so launches never wait on creative.
- Manage, train, and give direct feedback to the production team (currently one specialist), and grow the team as we scale.
- Drive collection of fresh raw photos and video from clients alongside our account managers.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Report creative performance against cost per booked appointment, not volume produced.
- Track creative freshness across every account so nothing runs stale.
Who This Role is For
- Direct Response Creative Expert - You can look at an ad and explain exactly why it will or won't convert, and you have the numbers to back it up.
- Quality Bar Owner - You're comfortable rejecting work, explaining why, and fixing the SOP so it doesn't happen twice.
- AI-Forward - You've already used AI image and video tools (or you pick up new tools fast) and you think in workflows, not one-offs.
- Systems Builder - You document what works so anyone you hire can be trained from your SOPs.
- Team Manager - You can hold a production team accountable to turnaround and quality.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience making direct response creative for paid social (Facebook/Meta specifically) with real ad spend behind your work.
- Portfolio of ads with spend and performance results (you'll be asked for 3-5 examples when you apply).
- Comfort with AI creative tools (image generation, likeness video, AI voiceover) or proven ability to learn tools fast.
- Experience running work through a task system like ClickUp or Asana.
- Media buying or agency experience is a strong plus (you understand how creative feeds a paid account).
- Local service, home services, or roofing marketing experience is a major plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
