TechWyse Internet Marketing

Location: Toronto, ON (The Junction) – 1444 Dupont St.

Work Setting: In-person / On-site

Type: Full-time

Company Description

TechWyse is a leader in the Canadian digital marketing landscape. We don’t just "do" SEO, we build high-performance, end-to-end digital ecosystems. From high-conversion websites to advanced analytics, we help businesses navigate the shift from traditional search to the new "Answering Engine" era.

Located near the Junction at Dupont and Lansdowne, our office is TTC-accessible with free on-site parking.

Role Description

We are looking for a forward-thinking SEO Specialist who understands that the rules of search have changed. You won't just be managing backlinks and keyword lists; you will be architecting authority.

In this role, you will lead SEO campaigns that dominate traditional SERPs while positioning our clients to be the "source of truth" for Generative AI engines (Gemini, ChatGPT, Perplexity). You will collaborate with our local and international teams to drive massive organic growth for both the TechWyse brand and our diverse North American client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies aligned with modern search behavior, including AI-driven search experiences, entity-based optimization, and visibility across generative search platforms.
  • Build topical authority through scalable content frameworks, topic clusters, internal linking strategies, and content gap analysis.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits covering Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexing, structured data, schema implementation, and site architecture improvements.
  • Perform keyword research, search intent analysis, competitor benchmarking, and opportunity forecasting to improve organic visibility and conversions.
  • Collaborate with Content, Web, and Client Success teams to ensure SEO recommendations are implemented accurately and efficiently.
  • Translate SEO insights, technical findings, and performance trends into clear business recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support full-funnel SEO strategies across TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU content initiatives with a focus on rankings, traffic quality, and lead generation.
  • Monitor performance using GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and other SEO platforms to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  • Contribute to SOP development, workflow improvements, QA processes, and scalable delivery standards across the SEO department.
  • Stay current with algorithm updates, AI search developments, SERP feature changes, and evolving SEO best practices.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience in an agency environment managing North American SMB clients.
  • Strong understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, local SEO, content optimization, and off-page SEO strategies.
  • Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Business Profile, and related SEO tools.
  • Experience using AI tools for SEO research, content planning, SERP analysis, workflow automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Working knowledge of E-E-A-T principles, entity-based search, schema markup, indexing systems, and modern search engine behavior.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present SEO recommendations confidently during client meetings and internal discussions.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Process-oriented mindset with the ability to improve SOPs, identify inefficiencies, and contribute to scalable SEO operations.
  • Advanced Google Sheets and reporting skills are considered an asset.
  • Basic HTML/CSS and WordPress implementation experience preferred.
