  • Regulatory Compliance Analyst
    Downtown Toronto

    Hybrid
    7 am - 3 pm hours

    Our client, a growing company located in the downtown core of Toronto is hiring! They are looking to hire a Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join its team. This role will have working hours of 7 am - 3 pm. Some hybrid work offered.

    In this role the successful candidate will report to the managing director of the corporate services team.

    Duties & Responsibilities will include:

    • Provides project or program support to a functional group or business process by relying on their expert knowledge of compliance regulatory systems such as SEDAR+, SEDI, OTC, OSC and others.
    • Monitors program/project/system status and timetables.
    • Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation and administration of program/system guidelines and procedures.
    • Provides technical support, which may include program/system training, program/system documentation, data extraction, data review and tracking.
    • Acts as a subject matter expert on compliance rules and regulations
    • Receives and processes compliance approval requests and provides proper documentation/communication for internal/external requests.
    • Be available to respond to occasional requests outside of assigned work hours.
    • Requires full job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
    Requirements:
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
    • Strong knowledge with regulatory systems such as SEDAR+, SEDI, EDGAR, CSE and TSX/TSX-V.
    • Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills—capacity to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously; ability to work under pressure.
    • Interpersonal skills: exceptional verbal/writ
    • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite more particularly Excel
    • University degree or equivalent certification would be an asset but is not a requirement.
    • Law Clerk, Law Associates, Paralegal diploma/degree, or Regulatory Compliance certification would be an asset but is not a requirement.
    • Background and/or education in the field of Canadian Securities Regulation and Canadian Regulatory Compliance would be an asset
