Warehouse Operator

Summary

Golden Happiness Bakery Ltd. is a locally owned and operated business for the past 30 years. At Golden Happiness Bakery, we pride ourselves in the quality of our products. We specialize in making baked goods.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform general warehouse functions such as: picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
  • Handle inbound/outbound loads, perform cycle counts, product put away, and replenishment of stock locations
  • Perform work in accordance with account specific Standard Operating Procedures at acceptable productivity levels
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers and colleagues
  • Work in a safe manner and adhere to all Company policies and procedures as well as Health and Safety Regulations
  • Maintain an organized and clean environment
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support production, quality, food safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Safely and efficiently load/pick up and deliver goods to various locations in Calgary or surrounding areas using company pick-up truck and trailer.

Job Specifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of warehouse experience within a fast-paced, high volume logistics environment
  • High School or equivalent education
  • Previous RF equipment experience
  • Dedicated to providing superior customer service and quality focused
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks that may require light to moderately heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Safety oriented team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude, high energy, self-motivated individual who demonstrates flexibility and adaptability
  • Bilingual – English/Chinese is considered an asset
