Full job description

We are currently seeking a Leasing Agent for our Downtown portfolio.

Tuesday - Saturdays, 10am - 6pm (9am-5pm Saturdays)

Leston Holdings is a property management and development company with a growing portfolio of multi-family residential properties throughout Edmonton.

To qualify for this great opportunity the ideal candidate must be energic, professional and eager to provide exceptional customer service:

Responsibilities:

· Advertise and generate interest in our Apartment Buildings by touring the property with prospects and answering all questions.

· Assist prospective tenants in qualifying for an apartment by collecting appropriate information

· Ensure apartments are prepared for move-in.

· Process all lease applications and notify prospective tenants whether their application has been accepted or declined.

· Compile new tenant files (sign lease agreement, confirm all information is provided, verify tenant insurance and utility hook up

· Complete move-in inspections with approved applicants, assit with move-out inspections when needed.

· Stay informed and aware of rates, incentives and events promoted by competitors.

  • Strong communication skills. Demonstrated in written and verbal reports, presentations, and meeting facilitation
  • Responsiveness. Ability to anticipate needs and commit to responding within agreed upon time frames
  • Deliver on commitments. Ability to set clear objectives and deliverable goals
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask. An organized self-starter with exceptional time management skills and the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
  • A quick learner. This is a fast-pace environment
  • Ability to Sell and Close

Qualifications:

  • Previous property management or leasing experience is considered an asset but is not required.
  • Previous sales, retail, or customer service experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must have access to a reliable vehicle for travel between properties as required.
