Full Job Description

LUXURY LANDSCAPE DESIGNER
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Luxury Landscape Designer to join a well-established company specializing in exceptional residential outdoor spaces. With 50 years in the industry, our client creates custom landscapes for acreage estates, waterfront homes, and luxury residences, with projects typically valued at $250,000 and above.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will translate detailed briefs from an established sales team into distinctive landscape concepts and detailed construction plans. The sales team leads client meetings and manages approvals, leaving you free to focus on creative problem-solving and design excellence. This is an opportunity to work on fewer, more substantial projects rather than high-volume, template-driven production. Your designs will reflect each homeowner's lifestyle, address site-specific challenges, and balance beauty with buildability.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end residential landscape design experience
  • Proficiency in landscape design software, from concept development to detailed construction drawings
  • Sound understanding of hardscaping, materials, planting design, and landscape construction
  • Knowledge of Pacific Northwest plants and conditions
  • Ability to interpret client briefs and translate them into thoughtful, customized designs
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales and construction teams

COMPANY CULTURE AND OPPORTUNITY
  • Work on distinctive residential landscapes with project budgets of $250,000 and above
  • Focus on creative design while a dedicated sales team manages client relationships
  • Join a growing business with a 50-year history of landscape work
  • Prioritize quality and originality over repetitive, high-volume production
  • Earn performance bonuses linked to revision cycles and client satisfaction

If this sounds like the right fit for you, we'd love to hear from you! Please submit your resume and portfolio. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
