Weston Manufacturing Ltd. is one of Southern Alberta's leading structural steel contractors, delivering commercial, industrial, and agricultural projects across Western Canada.

As demand for our work continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team.

We're looking for someone who understands construction—not just project administration. You'll work alongside General Contractors, engineers, consultants, and our fabrication and field teams to keep projects moving from contract award through final completion.

While structural steel experience is an advantage, we're primarily looking for someone with a strong commercial construction background who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and delivering successful projects.

What You'll Be Responsible For

· Manage multiple commercial construction projects from award through completion.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with General Contractors, owners, consultants, and project partners.

· Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.

· Review contracts, specifications, drawings, and project documentation.

· Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and project correspondence.

· Coordinate fabrication schedules with site construction activities.

· Monitor project costs, schedules, and overall project performance.

· Identify project risks and develop practical solutions before they become problems.

· Attend project meetings and represent Weston professionally.

· Work closely with our estimating, detailing, production, and field teams.

· Continuously look for opportunities to improve efficiency and project execution.

What We're Looking For

· Experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects.

· Strong understanding of construction contracts and project delivery.

· Experience working with General Contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and owners.

· Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.

· Excellent communication and organizational skills.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.

Location

This position is based in Fort Macleod, Alberta.

We welcome applicants from Lethbridge, Calgary, Medicine Hat, Red Deer, and communities throughout Southern Alberta.
