Full job description

Xcel Landscaping is looking for TOP TALENT to do very cool jobs day in and day out! It is a year round position, with no shortage of hours and the possibility of a salary position.

We are looking for experience, and lots of it! If you are currently stuck in a position where you think you are capable of much more we want to hear from you.

About the position:

The lead hand will report to the Forman/project manager and be in charge of day to day operations on job sites; including but not limited to, managing crew members, truck and trailer, heavy machinery and supplier deliveries. The lead hand will aid in interpreting landscape design plans, preparing a plan of action, coordinating material deliveries with the owner and following all safe work practices. Proper interaction with customers will also be considered an asset. Looking for a foreman that can find solutions, rather than problems, on small day to day problems that arise.

Qualifications:

- At least 2 years landscaping experience

- General use of skid steer and excavators, including day to day maintenance of each

- Able to read and understand landscape design plans

- Abide by, and promote, all safe work practices

- Knowledge of industry products and tools

Ideal candidate:

3) Work efficiently and find any inefficiencies with crew

4) Be prepared and on time!

5) Proven experience with skid/excavator, truck and trailer

6) Valid license with clean drivers abstract

Compensation:

- $22-$30 per hour, average of 50-55 hours a week
