N7 Energy Inc. is a private, Oil and coal bed gas production company with a key focus on drilling and completing oil assets in Alberta. N7 Energy Inc. has grown through acquisition with production exceeding 3000 BOE per day. N7 Energy Ltd. has an excellent opportunity for a Production Engineer based in Calgary. Reporting directly to the Management team, this role is responsible for providing engineering expertise for the drilling and completing, operation and optimization of oil and gas production and maximizing cashflow within N7 Energy Inc. This role involves analyzing reservoir performance, optimizing production strategies, and supporting project development in upstream oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, including mechanical knowledge, data analysis skills, and proficiency with engineering software tools.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Lead horizontal well drilling program and develop complimentary infrastructure to support production. Production optimization efforts of all wells and infrastructure, identifying and recommending opportunities to increase production, enhance well recoveries, and reduce operating expenses.

Collaboration with the Field Production Foremen, Area Field Operators, Completions, Facilities, and other technical functions is critical to be successful in this role. Coordinate and participate in regular area and well review meetings with Operations staff.

Work with Field Operations, Production Accounting, Geology, and Land as required to proactively resolve issues impacting production volumes. Monitor production testing compliance and test accuracy; ensure current regulatory requirements are met for new and existing wells. Maintain AER regulatory compliance and address all regulatory issues.

Essential Experience & Skills:

5‐10 years of experience within the energy industry, preferably in a production or exploration role. Professional Engineer (with APEGA) or C.E.T (ASET) member in good standing.

Field operations or completions experience would be considered an asset. The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks is required. Strong organization and analytical skills. Effective oral and written communication skills.

Conditions of Employment:
