Employment Conditions - Community Worker - Nunavik (Hudson Bay Coast Villages)

Salary:

  • Between $28.43 and $40.92 per hour based on experience.

Northern premiums and other employment conditions:

  • Isolation allowance (without dependents) between $233.63 and $275.60 per week, depending on the village
  • Isolation allowance (with dependents) between $411.84 and $485.88 per week, depending on the village
  • Retention bonus: Between $139.13 and $272.48 per week, depending on the village and seniority.
  • Cost of living allowance: Between $58.40 and $188.72 per week, depending on the village.

Available Opportunities - Community Worker - Nunavik (Hudson Bay Coast Villages)

  • Full-time or temporary positions, day or evening shifts with potential on-call duties at night.

Main Responsibilities - Community Worker - Nunavik (Hudson Bay Coast Villages)

  • Provide assistance, support, and guidance to users.
  • Act as a cultural liaison and interpreter between users and services.
  • Direct users to appropriate services.

Requirements - Community Worker - Nunavik (Hudson Bay Coast Villages)

  • Bilingualism (French and English)
  • Inuktitut is essential

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license.

Academic Requirements:

  • Secondary 5 diploma or equivalent.
