Job Title: Catering Supervisor

Location: Multi-Site

  • Air Canada Headquarters (7373 Boulevard De La Côte-vertu, Montréal, QC, H4S)
  • Downtown Montreal, QC (multiple sites)

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Catering Supervisor to oversee and support catering operations across multiple locations. This role requires frequent travel between sites throughout the week to ensure consistent service quality, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and is comfortable managing diverse teams and event setups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel between various locations to supervise catering operations on-site
  • Coordinate and execute catering services for meetings, corporate events, and special functions
  • Ensure consistency in food presentation, service standards, and customer experience across all sites
  • Support and lead on-site catering staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during events, addressing requests and resolving issues promptly
  • Collaborate with kitchen teams and logistics staff to ensure timely delivery and setup of catering services
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all locations
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown, including lifting and arranging equipment when required
  • Provide feedback and continuous improvement recommendations to management

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in catering, hospitality, or food service supervision
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Supervising/Managing
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
  • Bilingual (French and English) required
  • Criminal Record Check required
  • Food safety certification (MAPAQ or equivalent) is required upon obtaining the position
