Full job description

We are looking for passionate Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) to join our dynamic, diverse, and multicultural team at Summit Kids Before & After School Care Program, located at 610 Agate Cres SE, Calgary. Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe, happy, and fun learning environment for our children
  • Take pride in being part of our Summit family. Be a brand ambassador and be accountable. You are the face of our company to the families and to the community at large.
  • Engage & build positive & respectful relationships with our staff, families and the community by creating trust and always acting with integrity.
  • Ensure that the center facilities are always safe for our children and help the Campus Lead to strictly comply with licensing standards at all times
  • Act with compassion while upholding Summit Kids policies and standards.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid Alberta ECE Level 1/ Level 2/ Level 3 Certificate.
  • Comfortable commuting to the work location (610 Agate Cres SE, Calgary) for a split shift, as required by business needs.
  • Clear & Valid criminal record check with vulnerable sector, taken in the last 6 months.
  • Valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level B or C Certification.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills (English)
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with our multicultural family at Summit.
