Based in Hamilton, Ontario, Karma Candy Inc. is managed by a highly skilled team with deep experience and expertise in the confectionery industry. Join us today!

Responsibilities to Include:

  • Report to Quality Manager
  • Verification of Critical Control Points to ensure Food safety
  • Online Auditing to meet the requirements of (GFSI, Peanut/Tree Nut Free, Organic & Kosher) requirements.
  • Applicant must ensure personnel on his/her shift complies with proper GMP’s and are following standard operating procedures to ensure Quality and Food Safety is met.
  • Verification of production records to ensure proper documentation of traceability/Food Safety is maintained
  • Segregating off standard products - QC Hold
  • Create Quality deviation reports, root cause analysis and take corrective actions on non conformance products.
  • Training on GMP’s, HACCP, Traceability, and CCP’s.
  • Product analysis to ensure compliance to specification
  • Sensory Evaluation
  • Act as a technical resource to shop floor
  • Rotating Shifts (Days,Nights,Afternoon)

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Food Manufacturing a strong asset.
  • Computer proficiency in MS word, excel and power point and Gmail.
  • Highly organized, self starter, effective problem solving skills, critical thinking and the ability to prioritize, capable of multi-tasking and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Demonstrated competence in Food Safety, GMP’s and Food Plant Sanitation.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
