Full job description

We are currently looking for an Industrial Plant Technician / Laborer/ Delivery Driver

Must be willing to work with industrial and welding gases and strong knowledge and experience of compressed gas cylinder safety handling and filling of different types of cylinders and gases.

Jacobs Industries Limited is a welding, machining and sales facility in Whitehorse, Yukon, serving the Yukon and surrounding areas since 1944. We sell welding, industrial, commercial and medical equipment and gases. Check out our website at www.jacobsindustries.ca

Applicants should be experienced in computerized and handwriting sales invoices, able to lift heavy articles including cylinders daily, provide good customer service, handle POS devices and cash, inventory tracking and management, and answer and manage phone calls. Must have a class 5 Canadian driver's license.

Clean drivers abstract, first aid, WHMIS, safety and TDG certificates are considered an asset.

APPLICANTS MUST BE LEGALLY ENTITLED TO LIVE AND WORK IN CANADA. LIFT HEAVY LOADS DAILY AND CLEAR DRIVER'S ABSTRACT / RECORD.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
