Role Requirements

  • Valid G driver’s license
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years working in the Irrigation industry
  • To uphold and promote Yates Sprinklers values and mission
  • Experience with pumps, hydraulics, plumbing, electrical, fittings and technical know-how
  • Make day-to-day field decisions to resolve problems, adjust scope, and maintain efficiency without unnecessary escalation
  • Knowledge of irrigation products, troubleshooting and repair
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, contractors and other team members
  • Self motivated and able work alone or in a team environment
  • Follow directions provided by your division Manager
  • Be reliable and possess a positive attitude, working with minimal supervision
  • CIT certification and other relevant certificates are an asset (not required)
  • Be well organized and punctual
  • Adherence to health and safety
  • A willingness to work outdoors in ever changing weather conditions
  • Be physically fit to work outdoors in weather conditions and ability to withstand some repetitive physical work (kneeling, bending, lifting)
  • Monday to Friday 6:30am to 5:00pm (extended hours and Saturdays may be required during busy season)
