Full job description

Main Beam Fabrication LTD. is seeking an experienced Commercial Ironworker Foreman to lead a team of 5-10 ironworkers/welders on steel erection projects. You’ll manage daily operations, ensure safety compliance, interpret blueprints, and oversee project execution

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor ironworkers, ensuring safety and project quality.
  • Interpret blueprints and plan steel erection activities.
  • Conduct safety meetings and enforce policies.
  • Manage equipment, report issues, and complete daily/weekly reports.
  • Layout, fit, tack, Structural Steel

Qualifications

  • 2+ years as a Journeyman Ironworker or 1-2 years as a Foreman.
  • Supervisor Training Certification
  • Proficiency in steel layout, rigging, bolting, welding, and crane signaling.
  • Ability to read blueprints and work with heavy equipment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Ironworking/Welding: 6 years (required)

  • 75% (preferred)
