Position: Steamfitter/Pipefitter Journeyperson - Cenovus Lloydminster Upgrader - Maintenance

Jardeg is recruiting a Steamfitter/Pipefitter Journeyperson or Apprentice to join the Cenovus Upgrader in Lloydminster, SK project team until end of year. Rotation is Monday to Thursday 10 hours per day. It is a temporary position until December with possibility of extension.


Non-local candidates may be eligible for a relocation incentive upon successfully completing 90 days of employment at the Lloydminster site.

As a Steamfitter/Pipefitter your key responsibilities include but is not limited to:


  • Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.


Qualifications:


  • Journeyperson Pipefitter/Steamfitter certification.
  • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Pipefitter, preferably in industrial or construction settings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools, and installation techniques used in pipefitting.
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.

  • Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive
  • Energy Safety Canada Elevated Work Platform
  • Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection
  • Energy Safety Canada Confined Space
  • Standard First Aid

  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
