Inventory Coordinator, Paradise, NL

We have an immediate opening for a dedicated and highly motivated full-time Inventory Coordinator at our Distributor Center in Paradise, NL.

Position Overview

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy while supporting the daily operations of the Distribution Center (DC). This role combines inventory coordinator responsibilities with hands-on warehouse activities including assisting in cycle counting, put away activities, replenishment, order support and general warehouse organization.

This position plays a key role in ensuring inventory integrity, supporting efficient warehouse operations, and maintaining a safe, organized and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages and location errors
  • Ensure products are stored in the correct warehouse locations, and the surplus gets stored in the appropriate overflow areas
  • Where applicable, monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment activities
  • Assist in the preparation for and implementation of annual inventory counts and year end inventory audits
  • Assist with the receiving of orders to include labeling, stagings and putting away the inventory in the designated warehouse locations
  • Report any receiving and inventory concerns to the Warehouse Operations Coordinator or Supervisor as appropriate
  • Work on space optimization within the warehouse, providing recommendations to supervisors on ways to improve inventory accuracy, and warehouse efficiency to make the best use of space
  • Support root-cause investigations related to inventory variances
  • Assist with order picking, packing, staging and shipping activities as required
  • Maintain warehouse organization and housekeeping standards
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures and warehouse policies
  • Maintain organized and clean warehouse aisles, shelves and staging areas

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse, inventory control and distribution centre experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly
  • Basic computer skills preferred
  • Forklift certification considered an asset
