Full job description

;in;TevaTechthe About GFI Canada

GFI Canada helps everyday Canadians build financial plans they can actually follow, for retirement, protection, and everything in between. Our advisors use our proprietary Expert Financial Analysis TevaTech Platform to deliver personalized, data-driven plans that competing firms can't replicate.

We have been partnering with clients across BC, Alberta, Ontario, and Manitoba for years, and we're growing. If you want to build a book of business that pays you today and compounds for life, this is where you do it.

What makes this role different

Most insurance advisor roles hand you a license and a phone book. At GFI, we give you:

  • Warm client introductions, pre-qualified clients who are ready to talk, so you spend time advising, not hunting
  • Proprietary TEVA Tech Platform, a tool your competitors don't have access to, that makes your client presentations stand out
  • A real career path, structured progression from advisor to team leader, based on your results
  • Full remote flexibility, work from anywhere in Canada with a schedule that fits your life
  • Partnership ownership Program (POP) for eligible licensed agents
  • You can activate your GFI agent code in Canada, USA, Mexico and Columbia
  • Uncapped earning potential, commission and performance bonuses stack on top of your base, with no ceiling

Compensation & benefits

What you can expect to earn:

  • $40,000 – $75,000 estimated first-year earnings (commissions + Bonus for a focused advisor)
  • $75,000+ in year two as your book of business and residual income grow
  • Providing leads for focused advisors
  • Monthly performance bonuses on top of commissions
  • Can activate your Canadian GFI agent code in U.S, Mexico, & Columbia
  • No cap, top advisors who build a team have unlimited earning potential

GFI Benefits:

  • Millionaire Mentorship Mondays
  • 20+ insurance and investment carrier partners
  • Fintech & business expansion event access
  • Partial REMIC coverage
  • Amazing incentives & Bonuses
  • Free training series
  • POP Program (with eligibility note)
  • Wellness Package
  • Proprietary TevaTech Fintech Platform
  • Professional development
  • Mentorship & Leadership

What you'll do

  • Have consultative conversations with warm, pre-qualified clients about their financial needs and goals
  • Use GFI's proprietary Tevah Tech FinTech platform to build personalized retirement, protection, and savings plans
  • Keep client accounts current, proactively review plans and follow up when client needs change
  • Help clients understand risk and make informed decisions using current product and market knowledge
  • Operate within all regulatory and compliance standards (LLQP requirements), always acting in the client's best interest
  • Build and grow your own book of business from day one

Who thrives at GFI

You don't have to be the loudest person in the room. But you do have to care, about your clients, about your craft, and about building something real. You'll fit right in if you:

  • Hold an active LLQP license (Life & A&S) in good standing or on progress, required
  • Have at least a year of insurance or financial services experience, preferred
  • Build trust quickly in conversation, you listen first and advise second
  • Are self-directed and motivated by results you own and control
  • Care genuinely about clients' long-term wellbeing, not just the next sale
  • Want to grow, whether that means a bigger income, a larger book, or eventually leading a team
  • Have reliable transportation and a professional home office setup (Remote)

What to know before you apply

We believe in transparency. Here is what this role actually looks like:

  • This is a commission-based position with performance bonuses. Earnings estimates assume consistent activity and a focused approach, not a guaranteed salary floor.
  • You will build your own client relationships. Warm leads and referral support are provided by GFI for focused agents, but this is not a passive role.
  • Currently recruiting in BC, Alberta, Ontario, and Manitoba, and surrounding regions.
  • This role is open to both full-time and part-time candidates.

Application questions

Please be prepared to answer the following when you apply:

  • Do you currently hold an active LLQP license?
  • Which province(s) are you licensed in?
  • How many months of insurance or financial services experience do you have?
  • Are you comfortable building your own client relationships (with GFI lead support)?
