About Us: MyBrokers.ca is a leading commercial insurance brokerage known for its comprehensive insurance solutions and exceptional client service. We are expanding our personal lines division to meet the growing needs of our clients. Our team is dedicated to providing personalized insurance advice and solutions to individuals, helping them protect what matters most. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Lines Insurance Agent to join our team.

Position Overview: As a Personal Lines Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of personal insurance clients. You will provide expert advice, offer tailored insurance solutions, and ensure clients receive the best coverage for their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with personal insurance clients, understanding their needs and providing customized insurance solutions.
  • Policy Management: Handle the day-to-day management of personal insurance policies, including renewals, endorsements, and claims.
  • Sales and Retention: Actively pursue new business opportunities and work to retain existing clients by providing exceptional service.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to recommend appropriate coverage options for clients.
  • Customer Service: Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing accurate and helpful information to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in personal lines insurance, with a proven track record in sales and client management.
  • Licensing: Alberta General Level 1 required, General Level 2 is an asset
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of personal insurance products, including auto and home insurance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly.
  • Customer-Focused: Strong customer service orientation, with a commitment to meeting client needs.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and insurance policy administration tools.
