Pay rate: $30-40/hr based on experience

Roofing Repair Technician Expectations

• When you arrive at the shop each day, you will have been assigned work orders on the crew app, between 1-5 per day depending on the size and nature of the job
• You’ll load your materials on the truck at the beginning of the day for all the jobs assigned
• You’ll utilize two apps on the job site, one for time tracking and one for photo documentation
• You’ll typically be paired up with another technician and you’ll both be responsible for keeping the job site safe and neat, ensuring that you “leave it better than you found it” at the end of the day
• Jobs will typically range in size from replacing a section of old gutters, or replacing the entire fascia and soffit on a home.
• Many of the jobs you’ll do are to add new curb appeal and functionality to someones roof, so you’ll use your experience and attention to detail to bring the clients vision to life
• At the end of every day, you’ll resupply the truck and make sure it’s ready to roll for the next day’s activities
• All along the way, you’ll provide clear communication at key stages so each customer has an excellent experience

Fascia, Soffit, Eavestough Technician Skills & Experience

• All aspects of residential eavestrough, facia, and soffit installation
• Experience with vinyl siding, James Hardie, and Aluminum siding
• Some aspects of roof repair and roof accessory installation, such as skylights, flashing, etc.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Working at Heights Certification
• Must have reliable transportation to work (office is not on a bus route)
• Capable of lifitng / carrying 100 lbs
• Comfortable with heights and working on slopes of varying degrees
• Comfortable with climbing ladders and working on a roof
• Valid driver's license required so we can insure you to drive a company vehicle
• Bi-Lingual (French/English) a plus
• You’ll provide your own hand tools and pouch; we’ll provide the rest

Experience:

• Residential Fascia, Soffit: 1 year (preferred)
• Residential Siding: 1 year (preferred)
• metal bending: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• conversational French (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver's License (required)
• transportation to work (office is not on a bus route) (required)
