Fabtech Design and Build is seeking a Design Technician to help convert architectural and structural drawings into high-quality prefabricated wall panels using MiTek software. This role is essential to delivering precise and efficient design solutions for multi-family construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use MiTek software to convert architectural and structural drawings into prefabricated wall panel designs.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
  • Support the production team by providing accurate and detailed design plans.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to quality standards and project specifications.
  • Contribute to optimizing workflows and improving design processes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in design within the construction or prefabricated wall building industry (required)
  • Skills: Proficient in MiTek software with a strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to produce accurate, high-quality design plans.
  • Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaborative work.
  • Education: Post-secondary education in drafting, architecture, or a related field is an asset.
