The Audio Visual Rentals Account Manager is responsible for generating rental sales, managing customer accounts, and delivering exceptional service throughout the rental process. This role works closely with clients, event planners, event venues, production teams, and operations staff to provide audio-visual solutions for meetings, conferences, trade shows, corporate events, concerts, weddings, and live productions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Identify sales opportunities and grow rental revenue within assigned accounts.
  • Prepare rental quotations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Consult with clients to determine AV equipment and technical requirements.
  • Work with project managers and technicians to ensure successful event execution.
  • Conduct site visits and client meetings as needed.
  • Negotiate pricing while maintaining profitability.
  • Manage customer expectations and resolve service issues promptly.
  • Track sales activities and maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Stay current on AV technology, products, and industry trends.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and client functions to generate new business.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred), or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of sales or account management experience, preferably in audio visual, event production, hospitality, or technology services.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and manage client relationships
  • Strong knowledge of audio-visual equipment and event technology (preferred).
  • Experience preparing proposals and managing customer accounts.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.

Working Conditions

  • Office, and client-site environments.

  • Occasional lifting of equipment (up to 50 lbs).
