Duties

  • Provide comprehensive technical support to end-users across various platforms, including Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, servers, and network devices with precision and clarity.
  • Manage and resolve service requests using ServiceNow and BMC Remedy ticketing systems efficiently.
  • Configure and maintain computer networks, including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and operating systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support network security protocols by managing firewalls and implementing security measures across multiple operating systems.
  • Assist with software troubleshooting for applications such as Microsoft Office suite and other enterprise tools.
  • Collaborate with team members using Jira for project tracking and communication to streamline workflows.

Experience

  • Proven experience in providing IT support within a help desk or desktop support environment.
  • Strong understanding of computer networking concepts including LAN setup, VPN configuration, and firewall management.
  • Hands-on experience working with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow and BMC Remedy for incident tracking and resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate technical solutions to non-technical users.
  • Knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques for common enterprise applications.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high customer service standards.
