Full job description

Life Insurance Advisor – Remote | Leads Provided, Uncapped Commission

Stop prospecting. Start closing.

North Shield Financial is an independent brokerage licensed in Ontario and Alberta with access to 17 Canadian carriers. We spend our money on marketing so you don't spend yours on leads.

Here's the offer

  • Exclusive leads, free. Never resold, never recycled. They asked us for coverage.
  • Uncapped commission. No ceiling, no quota, paid bi-weekly on Fridays.
  • Monthly bonus on top of your commissions.
  • 17 carriers — you recommend what's right, not what's in stock.
  • Everything already built. CRM, follow-up automation, texting, scripts that convert.
  • Real coaching and support — call reviews, live feedback, and a team that wants you closing.
  • 100% remote. Your hours, your pace.

The work

  • Call fresh leads the same day they come in — people who filled out our form asking for coverage
  • Run a needs analysis by phone: what they're protecting, what they can afford, what they actually need
  • Quote across multiple carriers and walk the client through their real options
  • Complete the application over the phone, often on the first call — simplified issue, no medical exams
  • Send the policy for e-signature and set the draft date around their income deposit
  • Work your follow-up list. Most sales come on the fourth or fifth attempt, not the first.
  • Keep your CRM current so nothing slips
  • Deliver the policy, answer questions, and ask for the referral

What you need

  • LLQP license — required to start
  • Your own E&O coverage — required before writing business
  • Ontario or Alberta resident, licensed in your province
  • Computer, phone, reliable internet, quiet space

Skills that make you money here

  • Comfortable with technology. You'll live in a CRM, a dialer and an e-signature tool. If new software doesn't intimidate you, you'll be running by day two.
  • Solid computer basics. Typing while you talk, managing tabs, staying organized on screen without losing the conversation.
  • Speed. Leads go cold fast. The advisors who call within minutes close far more than the ones who get to it later.
  • Follow-through. Most sales happen on the fourth or fifth attempt, not the first.
  • Listening over pitching. These are real families making a real decision. The best closers here ask better questions.

Commission-only independent contractor role. We'll walk you through the exact commission math in the interview — real numbers, not vague promises.

If you've got your LLQP and you're tired of "warm leads" that meant go find your own — this is the real version.

Apply with a short note on your background and your LLQP licence number.

Pay: $50,000.00-$150,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Sales: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • LLQP (required)

Work Location: Remote
