Company Description: A leading tele-optometry company is looking to expand its team with a Licensed Doctor of Optometry in Ontario, Canada. This innovative organization provides comprehensive eye exams through advanced remote technology, offering flexibility for doctors and accessibility for patients.

Role Description: As a remote Licensed Doctor of Optometry, you will conduct eye exams from your location using state-of-the-art video conferencing technology. This role involves interacting with patients, assessing eye health, and prescribing eyewear, all supported by dedicated ophthalmic technicians. This position offers the flexibility to work from home as an Independent Contractor.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active Optometrist license in Ontario, Canada; licenses in additional provinces are a plus.
  • Experienced in LASIK, optometry, and other relevant skills.
  • Proficient in using telehealth and digital communication technologies.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients remotely.
  • Ability to analyze and diagnose from a distance with the support of technology and technician assistance.
