Position Overview:

This position will oversee the supply support provided to the Cormorant Support Center (CSC) and the Cormorant SAR Helicopter (CSH) program at the Main Operating Bases (MOBs), with responsibilities that include monitoring related supply activities.

What You Will Do:

  • Supervise the Material Supply Team, including management of buyer and material supply coordinator workload and scheduling.
  • Train and coach Material Supply Team personnel on procedures and processes.
  • Manage inventory levels to maintain fill rates that meet operational requirements and prevent shortages and overages.
  • Compile shortage reports and coordinate resolution with suppliers.
  • Coordinate material requirements and management meeting with geographically dispersed operations locations and support organizations.
  • Expediate and manage high priority requisitions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and intervene to maintain performance targets.
  • Monitor Enterprise Resource Planning system requirements and transactions for accuracy, timely procurement and distribution, and procedural compliance. Manage company and customer inventory.

What You Will Bring:

  • University degree in supply chain management or equivalent knowledge and skill gained through education and training.
  • Supply Chain Management Professional or Professional Logistician designation is preferred.
  • An analytical, task-oriented self-starter who is a team player with a positive outlook.
  • Ability to work under pressure within a deadline driven environment.
  • A minimum of five years of progressive experience in supply chain management.
  • Experience in the use of Material Requirements Planning and Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
  • Effective time and people management, and excellent communication and customer service.
  • Participation in Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian Government Security Clearances.
