HorizonAire is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Permanent Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team!
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Initiation and demonstration of equipment for patients with respiratory disease and sleep disordered breathing.
-Set-up and educate patients about our home oxygen services, and sleep apnea screening and treatment.
- Patient assessments and equipment compliance checks.
- Consultation with physicians and other health care professionals directly and/or through protocol management reporting.
Qualifications:
- Clinical competence, a positive attitude, and can work both independently and as part of a team.
- A graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
- Active registration with the NLCHP & CSRT.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
- A clean code of conduct and vulnerable sector check.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Google applications.
- Strong organization, communication, and time management skills.
Job Demands:
- Travel throughout Newfoundland.
- Regularly moves and lifts up to 50lbs.
- 24/7 on-call duties following a rotating schedule.
Compensation:
- $44.00 per hour.
