Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Yard Foreman at our Homes by Lake Country location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Homes by Lake Country Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
  • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
  • Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
  • Supervise department including coordination and delegation of duties.
  • Train new team members on procedures, equipment use, and safety practices.
  • Provide guest service in the yard and on the radio; load and unload merchandise and maintain cleanliness and order of merchandise in the yard.
  • Fill orders, receive freight, deliver and unload product, perform inventory counts.
  • Build positive relationships with the yard crew, desk and leadership teams.
  • Perform customer carry out service and product assembly as assigned.
  • Complete required paperwork based on department standards.
  • Practice and maintain safe procedures for the handling and stocking of merchandise.
  • Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in all areas of the Home Centre.

Who You Are:
You are looking for a career in Home & Building Products and Customer Service:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent experience; customer service experience is an asset.
  • Experience and knowledge in the building materials industry; estimating and construction experience is an asset.
  • Honest and trustworthy, are results- oriented, and strive to be the best in the work that you do.
  • Organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • Willing to obtain forklift certification.
  • Ability to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 25 to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
