Job Description:

Iron Eagle Sheet Metal, an Airdrie-based company, has immediate opportunities available for skilled and experienced 1st-year to journeyperson Commercial Sheet Metal Installers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the commercial HVAC installation field and hold a valid driver's license. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install HVAC systems in commercial buildings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine installation requirements.
  • Assemble, position, and mount HVAC units following manufacturer instructions and company standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, services, and repairs performed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries and concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 year of experience in commercial HVAC installation.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
