Full job description

Gulf Operators Limited is a civil contractor experienced in all aspects of civil work including concrete work, excavation, water and sewer, as well as aggregate production and sales.

At Gulf Operators Limited, you will discover a fast-paced work environment and gain exposure to a wide range of industrial, commercial, infrastructure and residential projects. We are always seeking to attract the very best talent for our varied operations.

We are currently accepting applications for Labourers to join our team in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handle and lift material safely around work sites
  • Communicate with team and project leaders
  • Clean-up work sites during and at the end of the day
  • Clean-up of all light vehicles used at end of task
  • Operate hand tools
  • Perform equipment inspections, ensuring everything is well maintained
  • Perform site checks to be aware of any hazards before starting tasks

We are looking for the following skill sets and experience:

  • 2-5 years labour experience in the civil construction industry
  • Hardworking, self-starter and team player with a strong work ethic
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong safety mindset, with the ability to perform all duties with a high degree of safety consciousness
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Willing and available to work flexible shifts
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
