Join our team as a Grocery Clerk Overnight, working from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM! Duties
- Restock shelves efficiently during overnight hours to ensure product availability for customers
- Perform merchandising tasks such as arranging displays and checking product placement for accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness of aisles, and backroom storage to uphold store standards
- Operate equipment such as forklifts safely when needed to move heavy inventory
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on store equipment and report any issues promptly
- Support inventory management by conducting stock counts and organizing stockrooms
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities and maintain a secure environment during overnight hours
Skills
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to assist team members and support store operations
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating with diverse customers and staff
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues effectively
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques to optimize product displays and store layout
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks diligently to uphold hygiene standards
- Cashiering experience helpful but not mandatory; training provided if needed
- Good organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain orderliness in storage areas
- Capable of performing routine maintenance checks on equipment and facilities
