Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Silk Screen Operator to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality silk screen printing processes on various materials, ensuring precision and consistency throughout each project. Your expertise in screen preparation, ink application, and quality control will be vital in delivering exceptional finished products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with innovative design techniques and contribute to visually compelling projects across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare silk screens by cleaning, coating, and aligning stencils with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Operate silk screen printing equipment efficiently to produce vibrant, accurate prints on diverse substrates such as textiles, plastics, and paper.
  • Adjust registration and color alignment to meet exact specifications for complex multi-color designs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during operation.
  • Conduct quality inspections at each stage of the printing process to identify and correct defects promptly.
  • Collaborate with designers and production teams to interpret artwork files, including digital design files created with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or similar software.
  • Keep detailed records of print runs, ink formulations, and maintenance activities to ensure consistency and traceability across projects.

Skills

  • Extensive experience with silk screen printing techniques and equipment operation.
  • Strong understanding of digital design principles, including working with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and motion graphics tools such as Adobe After Effects.
  • Proficiency in graphic design fundamentals, typography, visual arts painting, and sketching for creating or modifying artwork files.
  • Familiarity with fashion design concepts and construction painting is a plus for specialized textile projects.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and artwork files accurately while maintaining high standards of quality control.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
