Build a Career in a Department That Keeps the Dealership Running

Behind every efficient service drive, every completed repair, and every satisfied customer is a strong Parts Department.

At MGM Ford Lincoln, we’re looking for a Parts Advisor who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and customer service. This is a role for someone who enjoys being in the middle of the action, solving problems quickly, and supporting a fast-paced dealership environment.

If you’re someone who knows parts, communicates clearly, and thrives when things are moving fast, this is a strong opportunity to build your career within the automotive industry.

What Makes This Role Important

The Parts Department is one of the most critical functions in the dealership.
When technicians need parts, customers are waiting, and service is in motion, your ability to stay organized and accurate directly impacts the entire operation. Strong Parts Advisors are not just support staff. They are key contributors to dealership performance.

What You'll Do

  • Assist technicians, service advisors, and customers with parts inquiries and recommendations
  • Source, quote, and order automotive parts accurately and efficiently
  • Manage inventory, receiving, and stock organization
  • Support repair orders and help keep workflow moving through the service department
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams and customers
  • Maintain accurate documentation and inventory control

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in a dealership or aftermarket parts environment is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and ordering systems
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented mindset

Why You'll Love It Here

A Role With Real Impact
Your work directly affects shop efficiency, customer satisfaction, and dealership performance. This is a position where accuracy and speed truly matter.
A Team That Works Together
You’ll join a collaborative environment where technicians, advisors, and parts staff rely on each other to keep everything running smoothly. Teamwork is not optional here. It’s how we succeed.
Training and Career Development
Through Go Auto University and ongoing mentorship, you’ll continue developing your skills and gaining exposure to long-term career paths within the automotive industry.
Industry-Leading Benefits
Comprehensive health and dental coverage, a health spending account, and vacation time that increases with tenure. Start with three weeks after your first year, four weeks after five years, and five weeks after ten years.
Employee Investment Program
Share in the success of the company through our Employee Investment Program, offering a guaranteed annual return of up to 10%, with the potential to earn up to 16% based on company performance.
A Company That Promotes From Within
Many of our leaders started in Parts Advisor roles and built long-term careers within the organization. Growth is not just encouraged. It’s built into the culture.
