Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Year-Round
Starting Wage: From $25.00/hour (based on experience)

About Us

Northwest 21 Ltd. is a progressive irrigated farm located near Enchant, Alberta. We are looking for a motivated, dependable individual to join our team as a General Farm Worker. This is a year-round position offering a variety of work in both the shop and the yard.

Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will assist with a wide range of farm operations, including:

  • Operating tractors, forklifts, trucks, trailers, and other farm equipment
  • Assisting with loading and unloading trucks
  • Operating and maintaining conveyors, pilers, and vegetable grading equipment
  • Performing general shop and yard duties
  • Performing basic maintenance and repairs on farm equipment
  • Operating and maintaining irrigation systems, including Valley, Zimmatic, Reinke, and Lockwood pivots
  • Assisting with seasonal farming activities as required
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

  • Must have valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor equipment repairs
  • Basic welding skills are considered an asset
  • Experience operating skid steer and forklift
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to stand, walk, lift, and work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada. Employer sponsorship is not available. ( No LMIA Available)
  • Must live locally or be willing and able to commute to work each day with reliable transportation. (No relocation package available)

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
