Certified Gas Utility Operator/ Licensed Gas Fitter/ Apprentice
Diamond Valley Gas Co-op Ltd. is a member-owned natural gas utility dedicated to providing safe, dependable, and affordable natural gas service to the communities we serve. We are currently seeking a motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our operations team.
Key Responsibilities
· Install, maintain, and repair natural gas services and distribution infrastructure.
· Operate equipment related to installation and maintenance of natural gas services.
· Locate underground utilities.
· Operate and maintain regulator and meter stations.
· Install and exchange gas meters.
· Complete reports using digital devices.
· Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
· Perform other related duties.
Qualifications
· Registered Gas Utility Operator or Journeyperson Gas Fitter (Class A), or eligible to register as a Gas Utility Operator Apprentice.
· Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and in a team.
· Computer and tablet proficiency.
· Ability to perform physically demanding work safely.
