Farm Worker – Fruit (21 Positions)

Gill’s Paradise Orchards is seeking 21 seasonal, full-time farm workers for the 2027 growing and harvesting season. Our farm produces apples and nectarines, with work taking place in Cawston and Keremeos, BC.

Wage: $18.25/hour, 40 hours/week.

Work Schedule: Early morning, day and weekends.

Available Positions and Employment Dates:

4 workers: February 15 – October 15, 2027
3 workers: March 15 – November 15, 2027
3 workers: April 15 – December 15, 2027
11 workers: June 1 – December 15, 2027

Applicants may apply for any of the employment periods listed above.

Duties: Apply fertilizers, pick row and orchard crops, plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, manually remove suckers and water sprouts, train trees to improve fruit production and quality, perform weeding duties, and carry out other orchard work as required.

Work Environment: Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions in a rural orchard environment. The work is physically demanding and involves repetitive tasks, prolonged standing and walking, bending, crouching and kneeling. Workers must be able to distinguish between colours and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.

Experience: No experience required (will train).

Language: English.
