Full job description

Luxe Bistro is a busy modern steakhouse/bistro with multiple event spaces. We have been operating for over twenty years in the By-ward market.

We are currently seeking a full-time, FOH manager to join our team. Candidates must have open availability with no scheduling restrictions, and bring the skills and professionalism to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Your responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of front-of-house operations: coordinating service, supervising the team, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining hygiene, driving business performance, and managing administrative tasks.

  • Supervise floor operations and ensure an exceptional customer experience: greeting, food service, and maintaining customer relationships
  • Motivate, train, and develop the service team
  • Ensure a positive and motivating work environment
  • Participate in recruitment, scheduling, and administrative follow-ups
  • Act as a brand ambassador by taking part in commercial events and supporting marketing strategies both internally and externally
  • Monitor financial flows, manage bar and/or kitchen inventory alongside the Director and Kitchen Manager, analyze financial results to achieve objectives, and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure the restaurant is always clean and well-maintained, participate in routine upkeep, and ensure food quality, safety, and hygiene standards are followed

Schedule:

  • Full-time: 40-44 hours per week
  • Availability Monday to Sunday with 2 days off per week
  • Responsible for over shift, evening closing and openings(rotating schedule)
  • Flexible schedule: shifts may include days, evenings, and/or weekends as needed
  • Avialabilty on holidays
