Log Loader / Hoe Forwarder Operator – Northern Vancouver Island, BC
Equipment: Madill 4800 Series Loaders
Wage: $43.68 per hour

Lemare Forestry Ltd. is currently seeking experienced Log Loader / Hoe Forwarder Operators to join our coastal operations team on Northern Vancouver Island.

This is an opportunity to work with a well-established, unionized company known for its strong safety culture, well-maintained equipment, and steady coastal work.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience operating Madill 4800 size log loaders
  • Strong West Coast logging experience required
  • Experience loading both off-highway (90-ton loads) and highway trucks
  • Demonstrated experience hoe forwarding in steep coastal terrain
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a production environment
  • Strong understanding of coastal logging practices and hazards
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence required
  • First Aid certification considered an asset
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
