Job Description - Sales Representative

As the foremost distributor of construction, forestry and public works equipment, Paul Equipment & Sons (2008) dealership in Fredericton supplies equipment solutions to contractors, municipalities and consumers throughout Eastern Canada. We offer sales, rentals, leases, servicing, and support for DEVELON, Bobcat, Serco and Prinoth equipment.

Our team has an exciting opportunity for you as a Sales Representative based out of the Fredericton, N.B. office. This full-time role requires you to travel to various sites in the Southern part of N.B to promote our brands while upholding high company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Meet clients at the office or in their work environment

· Identify customer’s needs and offer the right products

· Draw up detailed bids

· Negotiate and conclude sales of new and/or used machinery

· Develop and maintain healthy relationships with customers

· Collaborate with team members

· Work independently to adapt to different situations and manage stress

· Promote the company

· Carry out regular follow-ups

· Ensure market development

· Participate in training and promotional activities (seminars, manufacturer training, internal sales meetings, and more)

REQUIREMENTS

· Knowledge in Finance

· Knowledge of the forest industry, machinery, construction and related products used by customers

· Knowledge of computer tools / programs

· Good reading, oral and written communication skills

· Organizational skills

· Analytical skills

· Strength in problem solving

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field would be an asset

· Hold a valid driver's license (classes 3 and 5)

· Being bilingual would be an asset

· Able to meet supplier standards

· Willing to travel regularly
