Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Take customer orders efficiently, providing friendly service while upselling menu items when appropriate.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, giving correct change and managing cash register operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
• Assist with food safety practices, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
• Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
