Full job description

Flowerette is a fast growing retail floral business that also services events and corporate clients.

We are looking to expand our floral design team at Toronto Pearson Airport.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Extensive floral design experience (retail, wedding, funeral, corporate/personal events)
  • Experience maintaining, conditioning, and processing cut flowers, plants, and hard goods
  • Experience in retail sales/merchandising
  • Ability to work/create in a fast-paced and open environment
  • Ability to travel to and from Toronto Pearson Airport (personal vehicle/transit options available)
  • Ability to confidently price and calculate cost of goods in the moment
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Ability to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience in opening/closing a retail workspace alone
  • Ability to speak French (strongly preferred)

The ability to speak French is a very strong asset. Toronto Pearson is open 365 days a year and requires our business to be open everyday, including major holidays.

We are a startup within a crowded retail category, and are looking to distinguish ourselves by our high level of customer service and an inspiring and welcoming environment.
