Pay: 30% to 40% tiered commission on service sales, with a guaranteed minimum wage floor every pay period. Top performers earn $4,000 to $6,000 per month including tips and retail commission.

Job Summary

We are hiring licensed barbers who want to be paid for what they produce. This is a commission-based role in a busy, established First Choice Haircutters location with steady walk-in traffic, so you can build your book from day one instead of starting from zero.

If you have a following, bring it. If you are building one, our walk-in volume gives you the traffic to do it fast.

What You Will Do

• Deliver clean fades, tapers, scissor cuts, line-ups, and beard trims for men and boys
• Provide the First Choice Haircutters men's service menu to brand standards
• Consult with clients, recommend services, and build repeat visits
• Recommend and sell retail grooming products
• Keep your station, clippers, and tools clean, sanitized, and organized
• Support a positive, team-first environment

What We Are Looking For

• Ontario hairstylist certification (Certificate of Qualification) or equivalent recognized credential
• Minimum 1 year of barbering or men's cutting experience
• Strong fade, taper, and clipper work across all hair types
• Fast, consistent, and comfortable with a high-volume walk-in environment
• Friendly, reliable, and professional
• Existing clientele is an asset but not required

Compensation and Benefits

• Tiered commission on all services performed: 30% base, rising to 35% and 40% as your weekly sales grow, paid every pay period
• Guaranteed minimum wage on every pay period, regardless of commission earned
• Additional commission on retail product sales
• Keep 100% of your tips
• Vacation pay and statutory holiday pay in accordance with the Ontario Employment Standards Act

• All products and supplies provided, other than your personal clippers and shears

• Walk-in clients supplied. We advertise to build your clientele.
