This Role Isn’t for Everyone

It’s for the financial leader who sees beyond the numbers.

You thrive on turning financial data into business strategy. You understand that a balance sheet tells a story, forecasts shape the future, and strong financial leadership can accelerate growth across an entire organization.

This is not a role for someone who simply closes the books each month. It is for someone who wants a seat at the leadership table, enjoys solving complex business challenges, and wants to help build something exceptional.

If you're looking for a narrow accounting role with little influence, this probably isn't the opportunity for you.

If you're excited by strategy, leadership, operational excellence, and helping guide a growing multi-company organization, keep reading.

About Roma Moulding

Roma Moulding is a design-driven, innovation-led company transforming the global art and framing industry. We combine premium craftsmanship with advanced manufacturing, technology, and fulfillment capabilities to serve customers across North America.

We don't just manufacture mouldings. We help designers, retailers, hospitality groups, artists, and consumers create beautiful spaces through innovative framing solutions.

Our business spans multiple companies across Canada and the United States, with growing operations in manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce, fulfillment, and logistics.

At the heart of everything we do are our people.

We hire remarkable humans who are driven, humble, accountable, and passionate about making a difference. We move fast. We challenge conventional thinking. We lead with integrity and we never stop improving.

Our mission is simple.

Move. Inspire. WOW.

About the Role

As Director of Finance, you will serve as one of the company's most trusted strategic leaders.

You will oversee the financial health of multiple companies operating across Canada and the United States while partnering directly with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to guide strategic decisions that shape Roma's future.

This role combines executive-level financial leadership with hands-on operational excellence. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, consolidated reporting, cash flow management, compliance, ERP optimization, and business analysis while developing a high-performing finance team.

Your work will influence every department across the organization.

This is an opportunity to help build the next chapter of Roma's growth.

What You Will OwnFinancial Strategy

  • Develop and execute Roma's long-term financial strategy in alignment with company objectives.
  • Provide financial insight that helps guide executive decision-making.
  • Support business expansion, acquisitions, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.

Financial Leadership

  • Lead the financial operations of multiple legal entities across Canada and the United States.
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and consolidated financial reporting.
  • Present executive-level financial analysis and recommendations.

Planning & Performance

  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and financial performance.
  • Develop financial models, scenario planning, and profitability analysis.

Operational Partnership

  • Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Experience, and Leadership.
  • Support pricing strategies, margin improvement, inventory optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide financial guidance that supports better business decisions across every department.

Financial Controls & Compliance

  • Ensure strong internal controls and financial governance.
  • Oversee Canadian and U.S. tax compliance, statutory reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage year-end audits and relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
  • Oversee intercompany accounting and consolidated reporting.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Lead ERP financial improvements and reporting enhancements.
  • Continuously improve financial processes, automation, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to modernize financial systems and reporting capabilities.

Leadership

  • Build, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing Finance team.
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Create an environment where people grow professionally while delivering exceptional results.

  • Budgeting and forecasting processes are streamlined and support proactive decision-making.
  • Opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements have been identified and implemented.
  • Cash flow, reporting, and financial controls are stronger than when you arrived.
  • Executive leadership relies on your financial guidance to make strategic business decisions.
  • Your team is engaged, accountable, and continuously improving.

Who You Are

  • You are a Strategic Leader. You understand finance is about enabling business growth, not simply reporting results.
  • You are Business Minded. You connect financial performance to operational decisions and help leaders understand the story behind the numbers.
  • You are Analytical. You enjoy solving complex problems using data, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • You are a Builder. You continually improve systems, processes, and reporting while creating scalable financial infrastructure.

  • Have managed Canadian and U.S. financial reporting and tax compliance.
  • Have worked in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or product-based businesses.
  • Have led ERP implementations or financial system modernization projects.
  • Have experience supporting acquisitions, expansion initiatives, or rapid organizational growth.
  • Enjoy partnering directly with CEOs and executive leadership teams on strategic initiatives.

Final Word

This role is much bigger than finance.

It is about helping shape the future of a growing organization.

We are looking for someone who combines exceptional financial expertise with strategic thinking, operational insight, and a passion for building remarkable teams.

If you're excited by the opportunity to influence decisions, improve performance, and help lead a company that's constantly evolving, we'd love to meet you.
