Potential to grow your own practice!
Location: Vancouver, BC
Position: Junior Advisor/Associate
Minimum requirement: Mutual Fund license
About the opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to join a small independent advisory team at WFM that is looking to grow with the right people. You would work directly with myself, gain hands-on experience in a growing practice, and have the opportunity over time to grow your own practice. (If you have the experience and the opportunity to grow independently quickly there is also opportunity for you)
We are looking for someone who wants more than just a job. This role is ideal for a motivated early-career advisor who values mentorship, flexibility, accountability, and the chance to be part of an entrepreneurial team environment.
About our team
We are a small independent advisory team at WFM focused on building a strong business with the right culture and the right people. Personality matters here, and being able to work well in a team environment is essential.
This role is about taking ownership, putting in the time when it is needed, and enjoying real flexibility and time off in return. The environment is professional, collaborative, and growth-oriented, with room for someone to develop in a meaningful way as the practice evolves. See our group here. www.financialfootprint.ca

- Manage a portion of clients while growing the asset and client base
- Support the delivery of financial planning and investment recommendations within your licensing scope.
- Assist with mutual fund-related client service and implementation activities.
- Assisting in maintaining and developing efficiencies in an industry with heavy compliance obligations.
- Contribute to business development, client communication, and relationship-building efforts.
- Take increasing responsibility over time as your experience, confidence, and capabilities grow.
What we’re looking for
- Minimum Mutual Fund license is required while perusing further industry related courses and designations.
- Minimum experience in any advice or advisory role
- Highly organized, highly ethical, and detail-oriented.
- Strong communicator — professional, clear, and approachable.
- Positive personality with the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
- Comfortable with busy days, shifting priorities, and putting in extra effort when needed.
- Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn independently.
- Client-focused mindset and professional demeanor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills when working with clients, advisors, and internal partners.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Why join our team

- Work directly with Brad in a mentorship-oriented environment.
- Gain real exposure to how an independent advisory practice is built and run.
- Enjoy a flexible, lifestyle-friendly approach to work.
- Be part of a work hard, play hard culture — focused when needed, relaxed when earned.
- Build a foundation for long-term growth, including the opportunity to grow your own practice.
Compensation and benefits
