Atlantic Electronics Ltd. is a proudly Canadian company with over 50 years of experience serving the marine industry. With 8 locations across Atlantic Canada, we provide sales, installation, and service to commercial fishing vessels, marine transportation fleets, naval operations, and recreational boats.

We are currently seeking a Marine Electronics Service Technician to join our team based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

This is a hands-on, field-based role working with advanced marine electronic systems both in-shop and onboard vessels throughout Atlantic Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and maintain marine electronics, including:
  • Radar systems
  • Echo sounders
  • Chart plotters
  • Marine communication systems
  • Vessel management and network systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic and network issues
  • Perform onboard computer installations and networking
  • Provide technical support and assist with equipment sales when required
  • Travel to vessels, ports, and remote locations as needed

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Rotating 24/7 on-call schedule required

Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly
  • Marine, electrical, or technical experience considered an asset
