About the Role

As a Field Application Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive technical support for customer circuit design and system development.

You will actively engage in customer presentations, introduce strategic supplier products, and deliver technical sales training to both customers and regional sales teams. Through initiatives such as lunch & learns, workshops, webcasts, and other forums, you will help elevate technical expertise across the organization.

Working closely with the Regional Director, Strategic Account Managers (SAMs), and Product Marketing teams, you will develop and execute impactful demand creation programs—driving sales growth and expanding customer relationships for Future Electronics and our strategic suppliers within your assigned region.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Provide hands-on support and early-stage system solution consultation to assigned customers
  • Deliver design guidance, troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution throughout the customer’s design and development lifecycle
  • Train and guide sales teams with varying levels of technical expertise to maximize efficiency and ROI on demand creation activities
  • Execute programs that strengthen and leverage customer and manufacturer relationships
  • Support suppliers through seminars, customer-site training, technical sales initiatives, and marketing programs
  • Apply your engineering expertise to develop and execute business strategies that effectively position supplier products with key design engineers
  • Drive accelerated revenue growth by aligning technical solutions with customer needs
  • Document customer activity through CRM entries

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • BSEE / BS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering required; MSEE preferred
  • 5–8 years of progressive embedded system design experience in at least two of the following areas:
  • 8/16-bit microcontroller hardware/firmware design
  • 32-bit / ARM MCU/MPU hardware/firmware design
  • Analog signal chain design
  • Power conversion design (AC/DC and DC/DC)
